Clean air / OAPC
For the sake of the environment fire fairly
OAPC means: Swiss Federal Ordinance on Air Pollution Control. The legislator requires that industrially produced furnaces do not exceed exhaust gas limit values. In our case, the dust and CO is in mg/m3.
The industry therefore tests all its products under laboratory conditions on the test bench of renowned, state-approved institutes. But not every customer wants an industrially manufactured fireplace. Above all, customers who are looking for the unmistakable are not looking for it.
It is not possible to tinker with custom-made products until the plants fall below the limit values, the financial expenditure for this is disproportionate. The installation of an electrostatic precipitator (ESP) right from the start legalizes the custom-made products and turns them into tested products.
The decision not to use an electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a personal balance between legal risk and morality towards our fellow human beings and the environment. By far the most important thing, whether a tested fireplace or not, is fair firing! Watch the following video.
